CULTURE SHARE: Greek Heritage Parade - NYC - PART II

The Greek Parade was cancelled for the last two years because of the pandemic. It was a pleasure to see the Greek Heritage respected, honored, and celebrated here in NYC.

(pictures and video below…)

The Greek Day Parade takes place annually in the United States along Fifth Avenue in the Manhattan borough of New York City. The parade is held in annual April in honor of the Anniversary of Greek Declaration of Independence from the Ottoman Empire on March 25, 1821, and the Greek War of Independence. As with most of the parades this year, the parades have started a little later this year… but, the Parades are slowly coming back and helping to reopen NYC.
