Artist In Action: Where The Light Enters In

There is a beautiful way the light enters into a space and fills it with grace. As windows allow you to have a peak inside a world you didn’t knew existed, they also allow one to develop a new perspective and view of what surrounds them, enthralls them, and brings their soul to life. The doorways that are open to us in life as well as the spiral staircases we climb to see more clearly, in these we are reminded that life is full of grace and beauty everyday, God’s grace and beauty in us brings light to the world. In the structures that surround us and enfold us, the relationships that make up our lives, and those deep intimate moments hidden in the depths of our souls illuminate who God really is. With each curve along the way in our journey, with each perfect arch as well as each imperfection we see God’s beauty and grace at work in us, so that we may more brightly shine divine goodness. With each twist of the staircase and intricate detail of or simplistic and smooth existence of a relationship we are encompassed by divine goodness and guidance on how to be the light and how to more authentically be who we are called to be in our own lives, in the lives of others, and in the world.

For Fr. Bob ~ and his love for the light and for always supporting me in my vocation as a mother, in ministry and in the arts, as well as my call to marriage. Who also encouraged me in my love and passion for arts, faith, culture, and care of the human family. YALE
