“3 Esquinas Tango Show – Alegría” is an Argentine Tango Show was made possible by the New York City Artist Corps. The show was also supported by and performed at the El Barrios Artspace.  

About 3 Esquinas Tango Show:

Originally, “3 Esquinas Tango Show” came  to life as an online show performed through Zoom throughout the pandemic, each of the three couples performing from their own Esquina- corner in their own homes. There were 4 previous editions performed through Zoom.

“Alegría” is the 5th edition, taking the audience from a dark atmosphere of anxiety and despair, to a bright and happy place, where exuberant celebration is the medium to overcome hardship.

About the artists:

Performers of this edition are three Tango dance couples, a trio of guitar, Bandoneon and violin and two singers, all nationally and internationally renowned artists:

Luis Ramírez & Analía Carreño – Dancers

Damián Fanis – Singer

Sofía Tosello – Singer

David Hodges – Bandoneon
