Pretty Yende ~ Amazing Grace ~ 2024 Tribute to Reopening of the Cathedral of Notre Dame

Pretty Yende is a South African soprano celebrated for her captivating performances in leading opera roles worldwide. She rose to prominence after becoming the first artist to win top prizes in all categories of the Belvedere Singing Competition in 2010, followed by winning Operalia in 2011. Yende has since performed at renowned opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, and the Royal Opera House.

Notable roles in her career include Juliette in Roméo et Juliette, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and Violetta in La Traviata. Recently, she made history as the first African soloist to perform at a British coronation, singing at the coronation of King Charles III in 2023.

Pretty Yende is also known for her artistry beyond the stage, becoming a global ambassador for Dior in 2023. Her performances continue to captivate audiences, with upcoming concerts and operatic roles planned at major venues like the Wiener Staatsoper and Opéra Bastille.
