Italian Heritage Month ~

Italian-American Heritage Month – October 2022. U.S. This October, mark Italian-American Heritage Month by recognizing the contributions and achievements of Italian-Americans. Over 26 million Americans of Italian descent currently reside in the U.S. — making up America's seventh largest ethnic group.

New York State is home to over 3 million Italian Americans, with New York City being the largest Italian city outside Italy. Since 1976 the State has recognized October as Italian Heritage and Culture Month. This annual event honors the long legacy of Italians, Italian Americans and their contributions with a series of special events, concerts, exhibits and lectures. We are sharing 3 of these below…. although we will share more throughout this month as well.

Enjoy!
