The Daily Ignatian Examen is one awesome way to examine your conscience and your relationship with God.It is best to do the Daily Examen at least once a day (I usually do it in the evening before bed), or twice a day (right before or after lunch is great!) Please see the below Daily Examen to help you:

The Daily Ignatian Examen

(5 - Steps)

St. Ignatius of Loyola: Boston College

1. Recall that you are in the presence of a God who loves you.

2. Thank God for all the gifts you have received.

3. Be aware of how the Holy Spirit has aided in your actions this day.

4. Examine how you have lived (positively and negatively) this day.

5. Ask for forgiveness, hope, and courage as you move toward tomorrow.

A Few Final Points:

Friendship and intimacy with God take time and regular attention.

Ten minutes each day is a reasonable amount for this prayer.

Cover all five points each day, but linger more on one point or another if necessary.

Let the Spirit guide you through it.

Find a prayer space and make it sacred for yourself.
