Olivier Latry is a renowned French organist known for his virtuosity and expressive interpretations. Born on February 22, 1962, in Tours, France, he began his musical studies at the Conservatoire de Paris, where he studied organ under Gaston Litaize and improvisation under Michel Chapuis.
Latry has enjoyed a distinguished international career as a solo organist, performing with major orchestras and at prominent venues around the world, including Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. He is one of the principal organists at Notre-Dame, a position he has held since 1985, making him one of the leading authorities on the instrument.
In addition to his concert performances, Latry is a passionate educator and has taught organ at the Paris Conservatoire since 1985. He is known for his innovative approach to the organ and has been an advocate for contemporary organ music, commissioning and premiering numerous works. Olivier Latry continues to inspire audiences with his technical mastery and deep musical insight.
Gustavo Dudamel is a renowned Venezuelan conductor celebrated for his dynamic and innovative approach to classical music. He currently serves as the Music and Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela. Starting in 2026, he will also take on the role of Music and Artistic Director of the New York Philharmonic.
Dudamel's career has been marked by performances with leading orchestras around the globe, including works by composers from Beethoven to contemporary figures like John Adams. His discography comprises over 65 recordings. In 2024, he conducted nine performances during his 15th Hollywood Bowl season with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, featuring pieces like Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and collaborations with renowned artists like soprano Diana Damrau and tenor Jonas Kaufmann.
Known for his commitment to arts education, Dudamel has received numerous accolades, including an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Harvard University in 2024, recognizing his devotion to the transformative power of the arts.
Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra ~ The Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, established in 1937, is one of France's most prominent orchestras. Known for its eclectic repertoire, it embraces both classical masterworks and contemporary compositions. The orchestra has a strong commitment to innovation, often collaborating with leading artists and promoting new music. Its performances frequently feature imaginative programming and audience-engaging concert formats.
Mikko Franck, the music director since 2015, has guided the orchestra to international acclaim, with performances at major venues like the Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna Konzerthaus, and Tokyo's Suntory Hall.
