Lang Lang is a world-renowned Chinese classical pianist celebrated for his extraordinary talent, dynamic stage presence, and technical brilliance. Born on June 14, 1982, in Shenyang, China, Lang Lang began playing the piano at the age of three. His prodigious skill was evident early, and he achieved international recognition as a teenager after his breakout performance at the 1999 Ravinia Festival, where he replaced an ailing André Watts.
