WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES 2018 - IRELAND

Even though most of my time in Dublin was rainy, soggy and damp, the sunshine did peak out in the personalites of everyone that surrounded me. The welcoming committee, hosting family, as well as the other offices and groups were amazing! They worked so hard to pull off this huge event, and make it a success! It was a delight to not only connect with the people involved in each group - that got this off the ground, but also to connect with the natives of Ireland, as well as the pilgrims who found their way. The spirit was alive and thriving here with the people as they trekked from location to location to spend time with Pope Francis and to celebrate the family.
