2. Manage Stress: Chronic stress can weaken the immune system and contribute to inflammation, which may increase the risk of cancer. Practice stress-reduction techniques such as meditation, yoga, deep breathing exercises, or hobbies you enjoy. Take time for you - to slow down and enjoy life.

3. Regular Exercise: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise each week. Regular physical activity can help reduce the risk of several types of cancer, including breast, colon, and lung cancer. Get physical - as you are able … get moving, you circulate your blood stream when you are moving. Physical activity helps clear hormones that may lead to cancer, as well as helps with keeping a healthy immune system. Physical Activity can also help you reduce your stress level and boost positive emotions. The more active you are, the more you reduce the risk of cancer.

4. Maintain a Healthy Weight: Being overweight or obese is a significant risk factor for many types of cancer. Strive to achieve and maintain a healthy weight through a combination of diet and exercise.

5. Limit Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol consumption is linked to an increased risk of several types of cancer, including breast, liver, and colorectal cancer. Limit your alcohol intake, and if you choose to drink, do so in moderation. Avoid alcohol or decrease your alcohol intake. Switch to Mocktails

6. Avoid Tobacco: Smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer, but it's also linked to many other types of cancer, including bladder, cervical, and pancreatic cancer. If you smoke, seek help to quit, and avoid exposure to secondhand smoke.

7. Protect Your Skin: Limit your exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun and tanning beds, as it increases the risk of skin cancer. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and seek shade when outdoors, especially during peak sun hours. Use sun protection if you are in a location with high sun.

8. Get Regular Screenings: Depending on your age, sex, and family history, regular screenings for certain types of cancer, such as breast, cervical, colorectal, and prostate cancer, can help detect cancer early when treatment is most effective.

9. Get Adequate Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Poor sleep habits can disrupt hormone levels and immune function, potentially increasing cancer risk.
